Over the past few years we have been collecting different species of conures and parrots from breeders that are proven to be healthy and of high quality for the purpose of breeding. We are breeding the collected birds which are highly sought after species on the market to fill the demand and thus we may avoid the illegal trade and trafficking of birds in the market by reproducing more birds at our breeding center. Organized poaching networks are emptying forests of their exotic birds – where they will be transported, often in appalling conditions, to markets across the region. The excessive demand for exotic birds has brought dozens of species to the edge of extinction. We have listed below some of the species we have at our breeding facility.
